Маркирован годом 1991

Отличительные черты:
Очень высокий, слегка выпуклый лоб, сомкнутый рот, на губах легкий намек на улыбку, нос курносый, переход переносицы слегка вдавленный, подбородок округлый.
Первая кукла с этим молдом: Neptune Fantasy вышла в 1992 году от дизайнера Боба Маки - именно по его имени молд был назван. На данном молде выходят как коллекционные куклы, так и игровые, также встречаются, реже, выпуски с увеличенной головой – balloonhead (Fashion Fever и др.). Данный молд часто использовался для самой Барби, а также других персонажей (Мидж, Тереза, Рапунцель, Белль и многие другие). Существует специфический вид росписи данного молда, когда поверх молдированного сомкнутого рта рисуются зубы (Barbie Raider, Monroе и др.)

Следующие молды могут представлять сложности при дифференцировке:
- GG closed mouth
Как отличить: GG closed mouth встречается как в обычном, так и, чаще, в увеличенном варианте, и довольно часто может быть спутан с Маки-молдом. Чтобы отличить данные молды следует обратить внимание на форму носа – у GG closed mouth нос менее курносый, переход переносицы более плавный; и подбородка – у GG closed mouth сильнее выражены углы нижней челюсти и подбородок чуть заострен, форма лица не такая округло-овальная как у Маки. Лоб у GG closed mouth несколько ниже. Данный молд маркирован 2010 годом.

- Tango
Как отличить: Танго-молд может быть иногда спутан с Маки. Для дифференцировки следует обратить внимание на нижнюю челюсть – у Танго крупный, заостренный подбородок, лицо узкое, рот уже и шире. Маркирован 2001 годом.

Молда Маки с вариантом росписи зубов поверх молдированного рта может также представлять затруднения при дифференцировке:
- Kentucky/Aphrodite
Как отличить: У Kentucky/Aphrodite зубы являются молдированными и не зависят от росписи. Маркирован 2008 годом.
